Day 9-10-Rhodes

Today we will wake up in Rhodes. We will enjoy breakfast from our chef cook.
We will then visit the Old Town/Medieval of Rhodes. The Old town of Rhodos exerts all the fascination of centuries past .It offers the visitor an inexhaustible wealth of Sights to admire. The old city of Rodos is encircled by strong mediaeval walls "a typical example of the techniques of the firtification of the 14th -15th century built by the Knights of Saint John,to protect the city from all dangers, whether comming from land or sea. When you approach the walls of the Old Town of Rhodes, you are about to enter the oldest inhabited medieval town in Europe. Now it happens to be a world of tourist shops, restaurants, cafes and museums. I cant wait to buy some great souvenirs :P

One of the most beautiful and interesting part of the Old City is the street of Knights, the most important street of the medieval town. The street is completely restored or preserved beautifully, and is lined by the buildings where the holy warriors spent their time in prayer or military practice.

On day 10,
We have the day to ourselves to either relax on board, or to do excursions on our own. We will probably take it easy in the day and enjoy the sun on board, and then take a stroll in the city in the evening for some drinks. :)
